The apparatus should consist of square divided in to two halves .The specimen , contained in the
box, is subjected to a constant load normal load while an increasing horizontal force is applied
one of the section of the shear box. The
loading unit as V strips on which the shear box housing rests. Suitable for specimens of size
60x60x25 mm3
. suitable for operation on 220 V,50 hertz , single phase A.C. supply.
